James T. Ruffin

James T. was born in 1774.  James T.'s father was Willliam Ruffin and his mother was Penelope Winbourne.  His paternal grandparents were William Ruffin and Sarah ?. He had six brothers and a sister, named John, Henry, William, Thomas, Blount B., Starkey S. W. and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Whitmel Blount.  He died at the age of 46 in 1820.
