Laura Pendleton Nicklin 
Laura Pendleton was born on September 5th, 1848.1 Laura Pendleton's father was John Bailey Nicklin and her mother was Catharine Thornton Pendleton. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Nicklin and Elizabeth Calvert; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Pendleton and Elizabeth Strother. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin Strother, Samuel Church, John Bailey, William Fuller, Elizabeth Catharine, Martha Virginia, Mary Marshall and Lucy Crane. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 23 on April 10th, 1872.1 -
