Benjamin Pendleton

Benjamin was born on November 19th, 1781 in Culpeper Co., VA.¹   Benjamin's father was William Pendleton and his mother was Elizabeth Fargeson.  His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Pendleton and Elizabeth Clayton; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Fargeson and Sarah Anne ?. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Nathaniel, John, William, Mary, Lucy Clayton, Sarah Anne, Elizabeth, Anne Fargeson, Frances Coleman, Eleanor and Emily.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 71 on March 14th, 1853 in Hancock, MD.¹
