Lucy Clayton Pendleton

Lucy Clayton was born on February 20th, 1773.¹   Lucy Clayton's father was William Pendleton and her mother was Elizabeth Fargeson.  Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Pendleton and Elizabeth Clayton; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Fargeson and Sarah Anne ?. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Nathaniel, Benjamin, John, William, Mary, Sarah Anne, Elizabeth, Anne Fargeson, Frances Coleman, Eleanor and Emily.  She was the second oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 47 in 1820.¹
