Nellie Nichols 
Nellie was born on June 21st, 1871. Nellie's father was Joseph Poe Nichols and her mother was Pantheah Royall Overbey. Her maternal grandparents were Henderson Overbey and Elizabeth Royster. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert Coleman, Thomas Franklin, Henderson Arthur, Joseph Lee, Elizabeth Elenor, Mary Matilda, Martha Ellis, William Walter, Carrie and Katie. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
