Mary Matilda Nichols 
Mary Matilda was born on October 9th, 1864. Mary Matilda's father was Joseph Poe Nichols and her mother was Pantheah Royall Overbey. Her maternal grandparents were Henderson Overbey and Elizabeth Royster. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert Coleman, Thomas Franklin, Henderson Arthur, Joseph Lee, Elizabeth Elenor, Martha Ellis, Nellie, William Walter, Carrie and Katie. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
