Mary Layne 
Mary was born on September 5th, 1776. Mary's father was Ayers Layne and her mother was Mary Woodson. Her paternal grandparents were John Layne and Elizabeth Ayers; her maternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Rebecca Pryor. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Frederick, Tarlton, John, Woodson, Lewis, Benjamin Woodson, George, Sally and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the eleven children.-
