Benjamin Woodson Layne 
Benjamin Woodson was born in 1777. Benjamin Woodson's father was Ayers Layne and his mother was Mary Woodson. His paternal grandparents were John Layne and Elizabeth Ayers; his maternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Rebecca Pryor. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Frederick, Tarlton, John, Woodson, Lewis, George, Sally, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
