Ota Lee Ladd 
Ota Lee was born on December 24th, 1897 in Laurel, Henrico Co., VA. Ota Lee's father was Thomas Mifflin Ladd and her mother was Katherine Frances Childress. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mifflin Ladd and Lucy Elizabeth Cowardin. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward Quarles, Walter Ira, Marion Calvin, Annie Elizabeth, Eva Frances and Ora Lou. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Bernard Goodall, Robert Hill, James Russell, Thomas Mifflin, Lucy Winston, Ellen Douglas and Sarah Mildred. She died at the age of 62 on April 10th, 1960.-
