William Wirt Henry 
William Wirt was born on February 14th, 1831 in "Red Hill", Charlotte Co., VA.1 William Wirt's father was John Henry and his mother was Elvira Bruce McClelland. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Henry and Dorothea Dandridge; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Stanhope McClelland and Margaret Cabell. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Stanhope McClelland, John, Margaret Ann, Elvira, Laura Helen and Emma Cabell. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 on December 5th, 1900.-
