Mary Elizabeth Butler

Mary Elizabeth was born on January 18th, 1795 in Elbert Co., GA.  Mary Elizabeth's father was James McGehee Butler and her mother was Sarah Christopher.  Her paternal grandparents were Zachariah Butler and Sarah Bowe. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Zachariah, Christopher, James B., Sarah, Martha and Nancy.  She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Richmond, Beacherson and Piety.  She died at the age of 78 on January 5th, 1874 in Shelby Co., AL.
