Mary Wallace was born in 1845. Mary Wallace's father was Aaron Bledsoe and her mother was Margaret Sydenham Payne. Her paternal grandparents were Elijah Bledsoe and Frances Champion; her maternal grandparents were Richard Beckwith Payne and Judith Anderson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Elijah R., Morton P., Elizabeth, Norella, Susan, Judith Burton, Frances and Martha.-
