Matthew Anderson 
Matthew was born on December 6th, 1743. Matthew's father was Robert Anderson and his mother was Elizabeth Clough. His paternal grandparents were Robert Anderson and Elizabeth Mary Overton; his maternal grandparents were Richard Clough and Anne Poindexter. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Robert, Richard Clough, George Augustus, Samuel, Charles, Cecelia, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann and Judith Clough. He died at the age of 63 on December 24th, 1806 in Ware Parish, Gloucester Co., Virginia.-
