Margaret Sydenham was born on April 30th, 1756 in Richmond, VA. Margaret Sydenham's father was Joseph Morton and her mother was Margaret Beckwith. Her paternal grandparents were John Morton and Mary Mountjoy; her maternal grandparents were Marmaduke Beckwith and Elizabeth Brockenbrough. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William Jordan and Betty McCarty. She died at the age of 84 on May 23rd, 1840.-
