Sallie Tanner Anderson 
Sallie Tanner was born in 1836. Sallie Tanner's father was Thomas Cary Anderson and her mother was Jemima Anne Meredith. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Anderson and Martha Tanner; her maternal grandparents were William Meredith and Sarah Ford Gardener. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William A., Matthew L., Thomas C., Robert Meredith, Lucy Ann, Patty Betty and Mary Frances. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 29 in 1865.-
