Matthew L. Anderson 
Matthew L. was born in 1834. Matthew L.'s father was Thomas Cary Anderson and his mother was Jemima Anne Meredith. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Anderson and Martha Tanner; his maternal grandparents were William Meredith and Sarah Ford Gardener. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William A., Thomas C., Robert Meredith, Sallie Tanner, Lucy Ann, Patty Betty and Mary Frances. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 27 in 1861.-
