McKelva Hammett

McKelva was born in 1838 in St Marys, St Mary's, Maryland, United States. McKelva's father was Henry Hammett and his mother was Mary Ann Corum. His paternal grandparents were Richard Hammett and Nancy Biscoe. He had four brothers and a sister, named William S, George A, Samuel Biscoe, Washington and Anjaline R. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James H. B., Sophia, Eliza and Mary Celestia. He died at the age of 72 on January 15th, 1910 in Pearson, Maryland, United States.
