George A Hammett

George A was born in 1829 in District of Columbia, United States.¹ George A's father was Henry Hammett and his mother was Mary Ann Corum. His paternal grandparents were Richard Hammett and Nancy Biscoe. He had four brothers and a sister, named William S, Samuel Biscoe, McKelva, Washington and Anjaline R. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James H. B., Sophia, Eliza and Mary Celestia.
