Mary Celestia Hammett

Mary Celestia was born in 1845 in St. Mary's Co., MD. Mary Celestia's father was Henry Hammett and her mother was Catherine Wise. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Hammett and Nancy Biscoe. She had a brother and two sisters, named James H. B., Sophia and Eliza. She was the youngest of the four children. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named William S, George A, Samuel Biscoe, McKelva, Washington and Anjaline R. She died at the age of 15 in 1860.
