Mildred Alice was born on January 1st, 1878 in Burston, Norfolk, England.  Mildred Alice's father was John POTTER and her mother was Christiana Mary BECK.  Her paternal grandparents were George POTTER and Elizabeth BALE. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William George, Ezra John, Sidney Clarke, Edward King, Gordon Stanley, Laurina Kate, Mabel Beatrice, Gertrude Emma, Edith Edna and Alice Louisa.  She was the third oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 92 in 1970 in Depwade District.
