Edith Edna was born in 1887 in Burston, Norfolk, England.  Edith Edna's father was John POTTER and her mother was Christiana Mary BECK.  Her paternal grandparents were George POTTER and Elizabeth BALE. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William George, Ezra John, Sidney Clarke, Edward King, Gordon Stanley, Mildred Alice, Laurina Kate, Mabel Beatrice, Gertrude Emma and Alice Louisa.  She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 70 in 1954 in Depwade District.1
