Laurina Kate was born in 1881 in Burston, Norfolk, England.  Laurina Kate's father was John POTTER and her mother was Christiana Mary BECK.  Her paternal grandparents were George POTTER and Elizabeth BALE. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William George, Ezra John, Sidney Clarke, Edward King, Gordon Stanley, Mildred Alice, Mabel Beatrice, Gertrude Emma, Edith Edna and Alice Louisa.  She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 88 in 1969 in Depwade District.1
