George was born in 1800 in Milton Next Sittingbourne, Kent, England.  George's father was Edward ELLICE and his mother was Ann. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, James Saxby, John, Elizabeth, Ann Maria, Amy and Amy Friday.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 14 in 1814 in Milton Next Sittingbourne, Kent, England.
