Amy Friday was born in 1812 in Milton Next Sittingbourne, Kent, England.  Amy Friday's father was Edward ELLICE and her mother was Ann. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, George, James Saxby, John, Elizabeth, Ann Maria and Amy.  She was the youngest of the eight children.
