Ann Maria was born in 1806 in Milton Next Sittingbourne, Kent, England.  Ann Maria's father was Edward ELLICE and her mother was Ann. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, George, James Saxby, John, Elizabeth, Amy and Amy Friday.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
