John DENCE

John was born in 1815 in Lynsted, Kent, England. John's father was John DENCE and his mother was Martha BONNY. His paternal grandparents were John DENCE and Mary COSBY; his maternal grandparents were Alexander BONNY and Susannah BOREMAN. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named James, Edward, Robert, George Cosby, Alexander, Francis, James Morrison, Maryanne, Elizabeth Susannah, Ellen, Ann, Susanna and Jane. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 75 in 1890 in Medway District.
