Francisca was born on May 23rd, 1795.  Francisca's father was Martinus-Joseph BAECKELANDT and her mother was Jeanne-Catharina VAN LAECKE.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph BAECKELANDT and Barbara DE VRIENDT.  She had four brothers named Joannes-Francies, Pieter Joannes, Jean-Baptiste and Ferdinand.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 57 on August 15th, 1852.
