James Robertson

Robertson family

James was born on August 1st, 1863 in New Prestwick.¹ James' father was David Robertson and his mother was Mary Eaglesome Smith Frew. His paternal grandparents were James Robertson and Ann McMurran; his maternal grandparents were John Frew and Janet Shaw. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Janet, Annie, Mary and Robertson. He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Charles, James and Margaret.

General Notes
- Emigrated to USA. Said (by Annie and Hetty Robertson) to have sold his brother William's rendition of the Book of Genesis, in verse, to a New York newspaper.
