Janet Shipherd

Janet was born on November 11th, 1739 in Dunfermline and her baptism took place there on November 22nd, 1739.¹ Janet's father was William Shepherd and her mother was Margaret Tulloch. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Shepherd and Helen Donaldson; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Tulloch and Helen Hadston. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Patrick, William, Andrew, James, Andrew, John, Margaret and Hellen. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
