James Robertson

James' father was William Robertson and his mother was Elspeth Thomson. His maternal grandparents were Robert Thomson and Janet Shipherd. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, George and Janet. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died due to heart disease, cardiac disease, at the age of 60 on January 21st, 1872 in New Prestwick.¹
