Agnes Robertson

Agnes was born on June 3rd, 1837 in Newton-on-Ayr and her baptism took place there on June 11th, 1837.¹²

Agnes' father was George Robertson and her mother was Martha Carlton McGloughlane. Her paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, John, Margaret, Martha, Mary, Euphemia, Jane, Charlotte, Catherine and Minnie. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 58 on February 28th, 1896 in Coylton.
