Martha was born on January 24th, 1803 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on January 24th, 1803.1   Martha's father was Peter FORREST and her mother was Jane PEACOCK. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Peter, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Jane, Mary, Ann, Grace and Martha.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  She died due to a childhood disease at the age of 1 on May 30th, 1804 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England.1
