Elizabeth was born on April 27th, 1791 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on May 2nd, 1791.1   Elizabeth's father was Peter FORREST and her mother was Jane PEACOCK. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Peter, John, Thomas, Jane, Mary, Martha, Ann, Grace and Martha.  She was the oldest of the eleven children.
