Henry BROWN

Henry was born in 1850 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England.¹ Henry's father was Joseph BROWN and his mother was Ann MAUGHAN. His paternal grandparents were Joseph BROWN and Eleanor STAINTHORP; his maternal grandparents were John MAUGHAN and Rachel MORLOW. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, Rachel, Fanny and Isabell. He was the third oldest of the six children.

- Birth date from 1851 & 1881 census. In 1881 Henry and his family are living at 11 Skinner St, Ruswarp and his occupation is a Plumber and Glazier. In 1899 according to the book Whitby Yards, Henry is living in Elders Yard 6/7 Silver Street.
