Joseph BROWN

Joseph was born in 1789 in Fylingdales, Yorkshire UK.¹ Joseph's father was William BROWN and his mother was Ann HUMBLE. His paternal grandparents were John BROWN and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were George HUMBLE and Elizabeth DIXON. He was an only child.

  In 1851 the family were living at 62 Church St and in 1861 they living in The Paddock. In the 1881 census Joseph is listed as being a Plumber employing 6 men and 2 boys and living at 8 Paddock, Ruswarp.
