Hiram Gilbert 
Hiram was born on August 8th, 1811 in Clinton, New York.1 Hiram's father was John Gilbert and his mother was Eunice Barnes. His paternal grandparents were John Gilbert and Theodosia Marsh; his maternal grandparents were Timothy Barnes and Eunice Munson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George Barnes, Grove Sheldon, John, Edward, Chauncy Gridley, Suzette and Julia Ann Barnes. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at 6 months old on February 27th, 1812 in Clinton, New York.1 -
