Benjamin Gilbert 
Benjamin was born in Hartford, Connecticut.1 Benjamin's father was Joseph Gilbert and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Gilbert and Amy Lord; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Smith and Lydia Huit. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, James, Amy, Abigail, Mercy, Mary and Elizabeth. He died on January 11th, 1770 in Hartford, Connecticut.1 -
