Joan of was born on September 29th, 1328 in Woodstock Palace, Oxfordshire, England.  Joan of's father was Edmund of Woodstock and her mother was Margaret Wake.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward I "Longshanks" Plantagenet of England and Margaret of France; her maternal grandfather was John Wake. She had a brother named John.  She died at the age of 68 on April 25th, 1397 in Wallingford Castle, Berkshire, England.  She was buried about 1385 in Church of Grey Friars, Stamford, Lincolnshire, England.
