Eleanor of was born in Provence, France.  Eleanor of's father was Raimond-Berenger and her mother was Beatrice De Savoia.  Her paternal grandparents were Alphonso II De Provence and Gersende II De Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Tommaso I Di Savoia and Beatrix Von Genf. She had three sisters named Marguerite, Beatrice and Sanchia of.  She died on June 24th, 1291 in Ambresbury, England.  She was buried on September 8th, 1291 in Convent church, Ambresbury, England.
