Johannah was born on April 2nd, 1799 in FRANKLIN CO, VA. Johannah's father was Philemon SAUNDERS and her mother was Jemima GREER. Her paternal grandfather was Julius SAUNDERS and her paternal grandmother is Jemima WOODWARD; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Greer Twin and Ann Lowe. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Jesse, Saunders, Littleberry James, Saunders, Saunders, Joseph, Lucy, Jemima, Elizabeth and Ala. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 65 on March 14th, 1865 in NR GLASGOW, KY, FRANKLIN CO. She was buried in OLD CHAMBERS CEM, NR CANEY CREEK, BARREN CO, KY.-
