He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named John, Thomas, ELIZEBETH, Eleanor and UKNOWN. Marriage recorded St. John's Parish page 64. His will dated Oct 12, 1766 was proved at Bedford Co. Va. 28 May 1781. In a note it says Greenberry an orphan boy is born to John Martin to learn to read and write and arithmatic.
