WOODARD was born on January 6th, 1834 in Franklin County, VA. WOODARD's father was Isaiah GREER and his mother was Johannah SAUNDERS. His paternal grandparents were James GREER and Elizabeth Greer; his maternal grandparents were Philemon SAUNDERS and Jemima GREER. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Fleming P., William, Charlotte, Lucy and Sarah Jane. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on May 28th, 1919 in Sedalia, Pettis, MO.-
