Peter Shaffer 
Peter was born on July 4th, 1828. Peter's father was George E. Shaver and his mother was Isabelle Rodgers. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Shaffer and UNKNOWN Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Michael Rodgers and Catharine Troxel. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Michael, Samuel McClung, Infant Son, George Washington, Rebecca, Sarah, Catharine, Elizabeth, Mary Crawford, Rachael, Eliza Kems, Margaret and Isabella Francis. He was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 86 on January 4th, 1915. He was buried in Dave Gwinn Cemetery on Lane School Rd in Summers County, WV or Cemetery on Lockbridge Road, Meadowbridge, Fayette County, West Virginia.-
