Samuel McClung Shaffer 
Samuel McClung was born on March 29th, 1830. Samuel McClung's father was George E. Shaver and his mother was Isabelle Rodgers. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Shaffer and UNKNOWN Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Michael Rodgers and Catharine Troxel. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Michael, Peter, Infant Son, George Washington, Rebecca, Sarah, Catharine, Elizabeth, Mary Crawford, Rachael, Eliza Kems, Margaret and Isabella Francis. He is the sixth youngest of the fourteen children.-
