Isobella Dunkeld le Scot of was born in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England.  Isobella Dunkeld le Scot of's father was David Dunkeld of Huntingdon and her mother was Mabel de Kevelioc de Meschines of Chester.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Dunkeld of Huntingdon and Adelaide (Ada) de Warenne; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Kevelioc de Meschines and Bertrade d'Evreux de Montfort. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert Dunkeld of, John Scot of, Henry de Brechin of, Ada of, Margaret Dunkeld of and Maud of. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Hugh, Cicely, Colet, Isabella d'Aubigny, Nichola d'Aubigny and Matilda.  She died in 1251.  She was buried in Saltre Abbey, Stilton, Gloucester.
