Henry I Capet of was born in April 1008 in Bourgogne, France.  Henry I Capet of's father was Robert II Capet the Pious of France and his mother was Constance of Arles and Toulouse.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Capet of France and Adelaide (Adela) of Poitou; his maternal grandparents were William III Taillefer of Toulouse and Arsinde (Blanka) d'Anjou. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hugh I Capet, Robert I Capet le Vieux the Old of, Constance of and Adela (Alix) Capet of.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 53 on August 4th, 1061 in Vitry-en-Brie, France.  He was buried on August 7th, 1061 in St. Denis, France.
