Isabella Capet de Crepi of was born in 1081 in Vermandois or Valois, Bretagne, France.  Isabella Capet de Crepi of's father was Hugh I Magnus the Great de Crepi of France and her mother was Adelar de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry I Capet of France and Matilda of Germany; her maternal grandparents were Herbert IV of Vermandois and Adela Vexin de Valois. She had two sisters named Agnes and Mathilda.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died in St. Nicaise, Meulan, France.

‌Isabella Capet de Crepi of and Robert I de Meulan were married in a religious ceremony in 1096.  They had three sons and seven daughters, named Hugh the Poor, Waleran, Robert II Bossu, Adeline de Beaumont of, Aubreye, Agnes, Amicade, Maude, Eleanor and Isabel (Elizabeth).
