Samuel Brown Crosiar 
Samuel Brown was born on August 14th, 1850 in Utica, Illinois. Samuel Brown's father was Amasa Owen Crosiar and his mother was Sarah Brown. His paternal grandparents were Simon Crosiar and Sarah H. Owen; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Brown and Lovina Akers. He had a brother and three sisters, named Infant Son, Infant Daughter, Sarah Ann and Zuleika. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Simon O, William Albert, Olin Lewis, Eli Ives, Ella, Emma, Sarah Lovina, Mary Louisa, Annie Jane, Olive Nancy and Mattie Alice. He died at the age of 3 on September 9th, 1853.-
