Emma Crosiar 
Emma was born on September 5th, 1857 in Utica, La Salle County, Illinois. Emma's father was Amasa Owen Crosiar and her mother was Lovina Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Simon Crosiar and Sarah H. Owen; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Brown and Lovina Akers. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Simon O, William Albert, Olin Lewis, Eli Ives, Ella, Sarah Lovina, Mary Louisa, Annie Jane, Olive Nancy and Mattie Alice. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Infant Son, Samuel Brown, Infant Daughter, Sarah Ann and Zuleika. She died at the age of 86 on September 11th, 1943 in Utica, La Salle County, Illinois.-
