Eli Ives Crosiar 
Eli Ives was born on November 29th, 1873 in Utica Township, La Salle, Illinois. Eli Ives' father was Amasa Owen Crosiar and his mother was Lovina Brown. His paternal grandparents were Simon Crosiar and Sarah H. Owen; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Brown and Lovina Akers. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Simon O, William Albert, Olin Lewis, Ella, Emma, Sarah Lovina, Mary Louisa, Annie Jane, Olive Nancy and Mattie Alice. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Infant Son, Samuel Brown, Infant Daughter, Sarah Ann and Zuleika. He died at the age of 69 on August 26th, 1943 in Utica Township, La Salle County, Illinois. He was buried in Oakhill Cemetery, Utica, La Salle County, Illinois.-
